The Michigan Achievement Scholarships are designed to help recent high school graduates in Michigan receive funds for continuing education.

The Lansing Promise, Students who live, attend and graduate within the Lansing School District boundaries, 9th—12th grades from a public, private, home, charter, online or GED program are potential Promise scholars.

The application period runs from January 1 - March 3, 2025, and is available only through the Community Foundation grant portal GOapply. The student (not the parent) will need to create a GOapply account and password. Application deadline is Monday March 3, 2025 by 8:00 pm. Please plan ahead!

The Community Choice Foundation embodies the credit union philosophy of people helping people. Each year, we award $100,000 in scholarships.
Our program proudly offers three different scholarships: Graduating High School, Continuing Education, and Vocational/Professional Training.

The foundation awards non-renewable scholarships to Michigan high school seniors who believe in Mrs. Parks’ lifelong commitment to social justice and community service while maintaining a strong academic record and demonstrating financial need.
